Eating Difficulties in Autism and ADHD: Present but Overlooked in Adults

Abstract
Autistic children often exhibit pervasive eating difficulties, but little is known about these challenges in adulthood and their presence in adults with ADHD. In this study, autistic adults reported the greatest eating difficulties, whereas adults with ADHD reported greater challenges with hunger-satiety. Eating difficulties were associated with core autism/ADHD symptoms.
