Abstract
This research aimed to investigate the complex relationship among childhood maltreatment, emotional regulation, and self-efficacy. Childhood maltreatment and emotion regulation predicted self-efficacy in adults. Additionally, limited access to emotion regulation strategies mediated the relationship between childhood emotional neglect and adult self-efficacy.
