Patient-Provider Relationship & Invalidation: The Effects on Treatment Adherence for Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder Patients

Quantitatively looking at patient-provider relationship and medical invalidation on treatment adherence self-efficacy for patients with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD). This study will also examine how race, gender, age, and social support affect adherence. Data will be collected through a patient perspective self-report survey.
