Abstract
In a sample of 122 adolescents ages 9-15 (58 girls, Mage=11.92), we found that higher family support buffered against exposure to peer stress, predicting lower self-reported depression symptoms and higher social reward sensitivity. The opposite effect was observed for neural responses to rewards, suggesting differential effects for different PVS measures.
