Exploring Sociocultural Predictors of Willingness to Seek Psychotherapy

A survey (N = 62) explored Willingness to Seek Psychotherapy using Help Seeking Propensity (HSP; Mackenzie et al., 2004) and cultural values scales: Achievement (Schwartz, 1992), Honor (Yao et al., 2017), and Joy (Basanez et al., 2022). A linear regression found Joy predicted higher HSP whereas Honor lower HSP.
