What a Difference a Month (Doesn’t) Make! Exploring the Effectiveness of a Study Tips Presentation Offered Early Versus Later in College Students’ First Semester

We evaluated whether teaching college students how to study early versus later in their first semester on campus would be more effective. Results indicated that a study tips presentation had positive prolonged effects, but the timing of the presentation did not affect its efficacy.
