Abstract
A numeric rating scale was used to assess abdominal pain across nine regions in 603 women. Distinct pain patterns emerged: menstrual pain concentrated in the hypogastric region, contrasting with broader pain in central and iliac regions in women with DGBI (n=32) versus non-DGBI controls (n=32), demonstrating the map's diagnostic utility.
