Abstract
We explored associations between perceived parental alcoholism and peer alcohol use on justice-impacted youths’ own alcohol use by gender (N=832). Perceptions of parental alcoholism moderate this association by gender: girls perceiving maternal alcoholism drink more in response to peer alcohol use, while boys perceiving paternal alcoholism drink less.
