Abstract
We examined the association between neighborhood social cohesion and adult depressive symptoms and investigated if this association was moderated by age, gender, and race among 2,473 adults. Neighborhood social cohesion was negatively associated with depressive symptoms. Stratified analyses showed similar associations for all age groups, women, and NH White adults.
