Abstract

We examined the psychometric characteristics of the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-2 (MAIA-2) in a sample of transgender and gender nonconforming adults (n = 287). Results support the full eight factor structure of the MAIA-2, and the Not Distracting subscale demonstrated the strongest negative association with disordered eating.
