Abstract
The study examined relationships between how Asian, Asian-White biracials, and White individuals racially identify themselves, physically appear, racially belong, and self-esteem. Racial identity strength was tied to self-esteem for Asian-White biracials. White racial belonging was linked to phenotype among Asian-White biracials and Whites, but this did not generalize to Asians.
