Abstract

Experience with production tasks, like handwriting, may impact early reading development by shifting children’s visual attention towards handwritten words. As a first step, we will use a parental questionnaire on at-home production tasks and eye-tracking to evaluate the relationship between production experience and overt visual attention to handwritten words.
