Exploring the Relationships between Heterosexism, Interpersonal Emotion Regulation, and Depression & Anxiety

Abstract

We explored the relationships between heterosexism, interpersonal emotion regulation, and depression & anxiety in sexual minorities. There were 320 participants (202 bisexual, 84 homosexual, 35 other; 50% cis-men and 70% white; Mage=34.73). Our results demonstrated no significant interaction between heterosexism and interpersonal emotion regulation with depression and anxiety.
