Abstract
We conducted a multiverse analysis of how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) predict internalizing symptoms during the college transition for first years. Individuals with higher ACEs exhibited increasing levels of internalizing symptoms. Notably, categorical ACEs, a field standard, consistently demonstrated the poorest performance compared to continuous and discrete ACEs model.
