Abstract
Justice-involved youth report experiencing more early life adversities (ELAs) and suicidal ideation (SI) than youth at large. This current study examined whether dimensions of psychopathic traits explained associations between ELA and SI in justice-involved youth. Findings indicate the impulsive/irresponsible dimension mediated associations, though the callous/unemotional dimension did not.
