Depression in the Intraparietal Sulcus: A Theoretical Model for Predicting Depression

Abstract

The current proposal supposes that depression may be predicted by functioning of the Intraparietal Sulcus, including theory of mind, self regulations and control, empathic distress, affective empathy, and corollary discharge. A potential paradigm for building the model is proposed.
