Abstract

Our research hypothesized that reduced cognitive functioning, lower resilience, and decreased emotional intelligence would be associated with more cluster B personality characteristics. The results showed that lower verbal reasoning and resilience predict more cluster B personality characteristics. More emotional intelligence predicted more histrionic characteristics but not other cluster B personalities.
