Abstract
We proposed that internalization of the inferior minority stereotype, which is relevant to Southeast Asian Americans, would explain the negative association between racial microaggressions and mental health for Southeast Asian American students. Although racial microaggressions predicted poorer mental health, internalized inferior minority stereotype did not mediate this relationship.
