Users' Cognitive Style and Task Time Constraint Jointly Influence Performance in a Simulation of Public Terminal Interface

Our study examined the effects of cognitive style and time constraint on users’ task performance. Fifty-six eligible participants completed a railway self-service ticket purchasing simulation. Eye movements and performance data indicate users’ cognitive style and task timing constraint jointly influence task performance.
