Abstract

We propose the development of a measure of agency and communion, extracted from the Big Five personality facets. Study 1 identifies facets that reflect agency and communion using a target-scale approach and tests a two-dimensional factor structure. Study 2 cross-validates results from Study 1 in a new sample.
