Displacement from a Natural Disaster Is Associated with Increased Prolonged Grief Disorder Symptoms

We examined the effect of displacement after a natural disaster on prolonged grief disorder (PGD) among individuals who lost loved ones due to such an event. Displaced individuals who lost loved ones due to natural disaster experienced more PGD symptoms than those who lost loved ones but were not displaced.
