Abstract

We surveyed 71 mid-career World Language (WL) teachers in the U.S. South, analyzing quantitative data to reveal how challenges like rurality affect their well-being. Despite obstacles, resilience thrived through peer support and positive motivations, emphasizing the significance of intrinsic drive over negative experiences.
