The Effect of a Self-Compassion Manipulation on Treatment Adherence Intentions Among Employees with Type 2 Diabetes Experiencing Occupational Stressin Nigeria

Between-group design was used in this experimental studies. 90 participants selected because they have type 2 diabetes, experienced work stress, and employed. At post test self-compassion was found to promote treatment adherence intentions and reduced occupational stress but at the pre-test evaluation the outcome was not significant.
