Examining Psychological Symptom Severity and Psychosocial Factors between Suicide Bereaved Parents and Partners

We compared baseline characteristics between military partners and parents in a grief and trauma-focused treatment program for loved ones who died by suicide (N=145). Partners were significantly more resilient but more avoidant than parents, alluding the need to investigate grief-related clinical presentations and develop tailored treatment for suicide bereavement.
