We investigated cross-cultural differences in justice reasoning and perceived causal relationships pertaining to a misfortune that followed an interpersonal wrong. Findings imply that people from Asian cultures endorse immanent justice reasoning more than people of European origins even when the unfortunate events are not directly related to the wrongdoing.
