Social Functioning and Youth Externalizing Psychopathology: A Network Analysis

Abstract

This study employed network analysis to identify the interconnections between social problems and youth externalizing behaviors, using data from the nationwide Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study. Key findings demonstrated hostile interpersonal behaviors were strongly linked to externalizing behaviors, but problems with social maturity were specifically connected to ADHD behaviors.
