Abstract

In three experiments we investigated the influence of memorability on visual statistical learning (VSL) and its potential role in the observed benefits of negative valence images. Findings suggest that memorability significantly impacts VSL but it doesn't account for the effect of negative valence, indicating partial independence between the two effects.
