Abstract

Childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in adulthood are consistently correlated in the literature. Our research found specific characteristics of CSA, and their severity, predicted more PTSD symptoms. The results provide specific variables to further understand the neurobiological development of PTSD after CSA.
