Black Children, Critical Emotion Science, and Well-Being: Exploring the Social Function of Emotions Among Black Children across Educational Spaces

My two-year ethnographic study, examines the social function of emotions in producing, reproducing, and reducing inequality among Black students. It includes 50 semi-structured interviews, 600 hours of participant observations, and 100 hours of video recordings of Black students’ emotions and social interactions.
