The Relationship between Methods of Coping with Anxiety and Depression and Suicide Rates across Countries

Worldwide, suicide is a critical concern, often preceded by anxiety and depression. Our research investigated if coping strategies for anxiety and depression predict suicide rates. Countries with a greater percentage of people who cope by using medication had higher suicide rates. Suicide rates were also linked with psychological disorder prevalence.
