Abstract

People diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) may have helpful or harmful reactions to stigma. Perfectionism and sense of belonging may determine this, and the sense of self may mediate effects on well-being. The proposed research will test a model of stigma resistance in BPD with a two-wave correlational study.
