Childhood Trauma and Resilience Predict Posttraumatic Growth in Adulthood

Our research examined the relationship between childhood trauma and posttraumatic growth with resilience as a tested moderator. Results revealed that childhood trauma, especially emotional abuse, predicted posttraumatic growth. However, resilience was not a moderator between childhood trauma and posttraumatic growth.
