Abstract
We examined the emergence of moral disgust understanding in preschool age children (N=111) by having children rate moral transgressions on two Likert scales assessing “bad” and “disgust”. Results indicated that 5-year-olds rate moral events as more disgusting than 4-year-olds, p=.048. These findings extend moral disgust understanding to a younger age.
