Abstract

Using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Mediation Model (APIMeM), we examined indirect actor and partner effects of depressive symptoms on relationship functioning through causal and responsibility attributions in a sample of mixed-sex couples (N = 200) seeking couples’ clinical services. Results revealed indirect actor and partner effects through one’s own causal attributions.
