Abstract
Decorative images influence people’s beliefs for accompanying claims. Does this influence extend to beliefs about COVID-19 and other health-related misinformation? Across two experiments, we asked people to judge health-related claims in the presence and absence of images. We found no evidence that decorative images influenced people’s judgments about health-related claims.
