The Effect of Positive Attention Training on Positive Affect Inertia and Depression Symptoms

Abstract

In a RCT study (N = 51), we examined whether positive attention training reduced positive affect inertia (14-days ESM based measure) in depression. There was no effect of attention training. However, inertia was reduced in the control group, and reduced inertia was associated with lower depression levels six months after.
