Abstract
Despite there being no scientific evidence of a professor’s teaching ability being related to their ethnicity or gender, this study found students mostly had negative implicit biases about teaching ability toward White Male and Hispanic Male professors, and positive implicit biases toward Black Female, Black Male, and Hispanic Female professors.
