Non-Medical Users of Prescription Psychostimulants Report Similar Neuropsychological Symptoms As Medical Users

Previous research found ADHD symptoms and psychostimulant use in individuals without ADHD diagnoses. We compared neuropsychological symptoms in medical users, non-medical users, and non-users of psychostimulants. We found more symptoms in users than non-users but no significant differences in most symptoms between user groups, although medical users reported more inattention.
