The Relationship between Anxiety and Self-Reported Attention, Memory, and Academic Problems

Abstract

Studies have found independent relationships between memory, attention, academic performance, and anxiety. Our study aimed to enhance the literature by examining the relationship between these variables simultaneously. Regression revealed the best predictors of anxiety were inattention and frustration intolerance. These remained strong predictors of anxiety when controlling for demographic variables.
