Abstract
We tested the moderating effects of emotional urgency on cognitive control (operationalized by a Stroop task) using an experimental design involving a positive mood induction component. A total of 20 individuals with DSM-5 bipolar I disorder participated. Results indicated a significant interaction between positive and negative urgency on Stroop performance.
