Abstract

This research examined the role of educational attainment in the relationship between adverse childhood experiences, cognitive intelligence, and emotion regulation. The findings show that education moderates the relationship between ACEs and emotion regulation, particularly acting as a safeguard for those with more than 16 years of education.
