Abstract

We assessed for indicators of malingering of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) using gait. Simulators of mTBI had more pronounced deficits on several gait variables than clinical mTBI and normal controls, with effect sizes upwards of d= .983. This supports the potential of gait as a method of identifying malingering.
