Abstract
We applied self-affirmation to enhance performance and psychological well-being. In two studies, we divided 646 and 197 employees into either a control or a self-affirmation group showing that affirmation group outperformed the control group in work performance. Study 2 indicated that self-affirmation led to reduced burnout and increased job satisfaction.
