Abstract

This proposed study aims to investigate how the interaction between socioeconomic status (SES) and vocabulary knowledge impact speech comprehension in noisy environments. We anticipate that individuals with larger vocabulary knowledge and lower SES will demonstrate enhanced intelligibility of speech in noise.
