Abstract
Tilt refers to relative strength and weakness in two abilities. This study examined sex and age (13- to 17-years) differences in tech tilt (tech>academic) and academic tilt (academic>tech) on cognitive tests. Males showed age increases in tech tilt. Females showed increases in academic tilt. Processing speed mediated age-tilt relations.
