Understanding Emotional Ambivalence in Daily Life: Real-Time Fluctuations in Emotional Ambivalence and Its Association with Momentary Affective Outcomes

Abstract
In two ecological momentary assessment studies, we investigated how emotional ambivalence varies daily and affects adults in the USA and China. Results show significant variations in ambivalence and its strong impact on momentary affective outcomes, emphasizing the need to consider emotional complexity for better emotional regulation.
