Abstract
Social physique anxiety (SPA) serves as a barrier to adolescent physical activity. Physical education (PE) classrooms raise adolescent SPA levels and can frustrate students’ psychological needs. Additionally, need frustration leads to motivational styles that decrease PE participation. This poster proposes a study to provide insight into SPA and PE participation.
