Social and Personality Psychology at Times of War and Conflict
The Russo-Ukrainian War has far-reaching consequences. This symposium highlights 4 studies (N = 1,382,294) that documented 1) Ukrainians’ resilience during the 2013-2014 Euromaidan Protest, 2) the human cost of military spending, 3) the well-being benefits of EU accession, and 4) the null association between refugee influx and host populations’ well-being.
