Beyond Beauty: Psychological Effects of Aesthetic Appreciation in Image and Film
While art is typically found in museums and galleries, people also frequently come across aesthetically striking images in everyday life. This symposium brings together research on the psychological processes that are activated when individuals experience a special aesthetic quality, in particular, when they view certain images, or films.
