The Naturally Moving Brain: Towards Understanding the Relationship between Cognition and Daily Patterns of Physical Mobility
Mobility through the environment forms the scaffold of human behavior. Here we discuss how mobility as a dependent measure provides a novel interdisciplinary framework for studying human psychological function through four distinct perspectives –– physical activity and brain health, mental wellness and movement patterns, aging and architecture, and transportation planning.
